A very nice Bogdan large steelhead reel, 3 1/2″ in diameter and set up for right-hand wind. 1 5/32″ spool width and weighing approximately 7.5 ounces. Excellent plus used condition with a little bit of very light rim rash concentrated in the “resting spot” on the rims but very clean throughout. Silver anodized frame, spool, and foot with black side plates, the crankside plate being ventilated. The owner of this reel has kindly provided the original tag featuring Stan’s handwriting which notes the model and the owner’s name, as well as the original paper invoice which includes the 1998 manufacturing date. Comes in a non-original but very handsome Mulholland leather reel case. This reel might be the pinnacle of light salmon or steelhead reels and is perfect for a single hander or even very light spey rod.
