For sale here is an Alan Kube 8′ 5wt bamboo rod- his rendition ofthe Payne Model 102. Custom grade. Serial no. 20614.Made in 2014. Two sections with three original tips as requested by the original owner. The rod is in near mint condition showing onlyvery light wear. All sections are full length and straight.

The ferrules, reel seat, agate stripping guide, bag, and tube are all made by Kube.

Mildly tempered cane with transparent honey colored wraps and oxblood tipping. Blued hardware throughout. Agate stripping guide. Nickel silver checks. Cigar grip 5 7/8″ in length with only the lightest of handling marks. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a mortisedChechenburl spacer. The ferrulefit is perfect. Unfortunately, the ferrule plug has been lost. Medium fast action. The rod weighs 4.25 oz.
