The concept behind the Smith Corot SR is “small and round”- the hip up shape of the body reduces the roll of the belly hook to improve snagless performance in cover. When cranking in on a straight retrieve it can be fished shallow creating a wake upon the surface. The round shape improves cast-ability and accuracy without relying on an internal weight system.
