For sale here is a handsome Edwards Perfection Series bamboo rod made by Bill Abrams (Streamer) of Housatonic Rods — 7′ 2/2 for a 5 weight line. Made in 2009. Near mint condition. Moderately tempered cane with pale gold wraps and purple tipping. The second tip features a small band of gold thread below the tip-top to distinguish it from the other tip. Sculpted bakelite winding check with a rather straight tapered cigar grip. The grip shows only the lightest of handling marks. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figuredwood spacer. Bakelite butt cap. The reel seat reads, “Wm Abrams RODMAKER” EW Edwards Perfection-Series” “2009”. The rod weighs 3.95 oz. The ferrules are size 12/64. The fit is nice and tight. Includes original bag and labeled tube.
