For sale here is a like-new Walt Carpenter Browntone — 6’3″ 2/2 3wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 891263. All sections are full length and straight. Beautiful dark cane with brown wraps and black tipping. Black, gold, and burgundy at the winding check and male ferrules. The tips are distinguished by one or two dots at theferrules. Petite cigar grip with only the very lightest of handling marks. Blued cap and ring reel seat over a mortised Spanishcedar spacer. “W.E. Carpenter Maker” is engraved on the butt cap. The ferrules are size11/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs 2.45 oz. The action is medium-fast. Comes with original bag and labeled tube.
