For sale here is a rod from the bench of Joe Arguello, a 7’9″ 2/2 5wt. Serial no. 2007-2. The rod is in excellent condition. All sections are full length with a slight set in the butt and one of the tips. Transparenthoney colored wraps and chocolate tipping. Hexagonal nickel silver winding check. Ring hook keeper. Reverse half-wells grip 6 1/2″ in length with mild soiling. Blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figured burl wood spacer. Much of the bluing has worn off the butt cap leaving a nice patina. The Swiss-style ferrules are size 13/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 4.35 oz. Medium fast action. Includes original bag and green powder coated tube and brass fittings.
