For sale here is a Wright & McGillGranger “Aristocrat” Model 7633 — 7’6″ 3/2 5wt bamboo rod. The rod is in excellentcondition,though it has receiveda light varnish overcoat from Tim Zietak as well asre-setting and re-wrappingthe ferrules. All sections are full length and straight.

Classic Granger ammoniated cane, bronze colored silks with dark brown tipping. Mildly swelled butt. The script is slightlyfaded but still distinct and legible. The western-style grip has been cleaned and is ridged. The patented nickel silver up-locking reel seat is in wonderful condition and functions smoothly as it should. The ferrules are size 9/64 and 14/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 4.20 oz. The action is a superb medium-fast. A wonderful trout rod from the golden age of bamboo.
