A superb little R.L. Winston Co. “Vintage” Limited Edition Trout Fly Reel made in the early 1990s. This is the very scarce 1/2 model — one of only 10 thought to have been made! 2 7/8″ diameter with a handsome matte gold frame with black sideplates. Reel is in mint, unused condition. Set up for left-hand retrieve. The spool capacity is DT2 plus 20 yds of backing. Comes in a pine presentation box with spare spool, reel oiler, and paperwork. The foam lining the box is in poor condition and so the reel and spool also come with two nice leather Winston zipper pouches. A very hard to find reel!
