For sale here is a bamboo rod made by Rolf Baginski of Germany – his “Horizon” model – 6 feet, 2/2 made for a four or five weight line. Blondecane, serial #1355. Tapered cigar grip. Reel seat is German silver/Argentine slide band over a stunning amboynawood spacer. The guide wraps are clear with fine black edging at the ferrules and stripping guide and one black wrap in the middle of each guide wrap. Bright fittings throughout. The rod is in mintcondition and complete with original bag and tube. The ferrules are 12/64 and the ferrule fit is Baginski-tight! The rod weighs 2.85oz and the action is medium fast. The cane work and varnish as with all of Rolf’s rods is top-notch!
