Serial no. 161-14.These blanks are designed by Chris and manufactured by a well-respected Japanese fiberglass blank maker.The rod features a sanded, chestnut brown fiberglass blank with burgundy wraps. Bright guides. Spigot ferrules with a 1/4″ gap when assembled to account for wear over time. Full wells grip with a very shallow taper turned from the finest cork. The grip shows only the lightest of handling marks. Handsome and unique brass cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. The reel seat hardware was made by KineyaTackle. The Barclay logo is stamped into the back side of the butt cap. The rod weighs a svelte 2.85 oz. The action is a smooth and on the medium side of medium-fast. The rod feels quite powerful and the thin tip makes for great tippet protection and delicate casts. Original bag and labeled tube.
