The rod features handsome flamed cane with exquisitely wrapped transparent, caramel brown silks with black tipping. The script remains clean and bold. Garrison-style hook keeper. Full wells grip measures 6 3/8″ in length with light soiling. Bright aluminum down-locking reel seat over a mortised walnut spacer. “R.W. Summers Co. Traverse City, M.I. U.S.A.” is stamped on the butt cap. The ferrule fit is excellent. The rod weighs 5.30 oz. Medium-fast action and parabolic. Includes original labeled bag with attached ferrule plug and tube with Summers’ unique brass fittings.
