For sale here is a Carpenter Bros. 8′ 2/2 5wt hollow-built quad bamboo rod with spliced ferrules. Serial no. Q117. Made in 2017. The rod is in excellent++ condition. All sections are full length with a mild set in one tip that can be easily straightened.

The rod features a handsome matte oil finish with transparentred silks. Oxidized hardware. E.C. Powell-style grip measures 5 1/2″ in length with very light soiling. Classic cap and ring reel seat with a fine knurled edging over acork spacer. The spliced ferrules remain free of any defect and include black witness marks and splice protectors. Alsoincludes a full roll of Renfrew Hockey tape. The rod weighs a svelte 3.25 oz.The action is very smooth and medium-fast. Includes original bag and tube.
