A nice CF Orvis Superfine fly rod, 6′, 1-piece, and built for a #6 (HDG). Labeled “Special Fly Rod” serial #26754. 2.6 ounces. A highly unusual rod from the Orvis company here. Very straight original condition, although the grip has been cleaned. Dark tempered impregnated cane in a three up node pattern. The wraps are light yellow. The 4 1/2″ long grip tapers to the keeper wraps at the front and screwlock seat at the back. The seat is an anodized downlocking screwlock with a pocket cap and a walnut spacer. The Spinoza team has supplied a bag fixed to the inside of the tube so that the rod can be more safely transported.
