Elegantly swelled butt. Nickel silver checks with a fine knurling. Reverse half wells grip with only slight soiling. The Paulo Barbetti engravings on the up-locking nickel silver reel seat hardware is exquisite. Beautiful, richly banded, circassian walnut spacer. The Swiss-style ferrules are size 12/64, the fit is perfect. The female ferrules are engraved “Whitehead” and feature the fine knurling seen on the checks. With the rod comes a very fine nickel silver ferrule plug with ivory cap.
