For sale here is a Scott Rod Co. Model F703/3 — 7′ 3wt 3 pc. fiberglass rod. Serial no. 100204. The rod is in excellent+ condition.

The rod features an unsanded black blank with dark emerald wraps. Light gray and silver tipping at the ferrules. The turquoise script remains clean and bold. U-shaped hook keeper. Nickel silverchecks. Slender cigar grip 6″ in length with only light soiling, the cork is very smooth. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a mortised cork spacer. The Scott logo is laser engraved on the bottom of the butt cap. The spigot ferrules have a perfect fit with small gaps between sections to allow for wear over time. Green witness dots. The rod weighs a lean 2.65 oz. The action is a crisp and smooth medium-fast dry-fly with a good bit of backbone should the wind pick up.
