For sale here is a Ted Williams Model TW81-2 – 7’6″ fiberglass fly rod for a 5wt. The rod is fair condition. There is some all over wear from honest fishing use but would still be a great fishing rod for years to come. All the guides are secure, the metal ferrules fit together tightly as they should. The reel seat could stand to be cleaned but is in great shape. The rod has a medium classic fiberglass action that is very nice to cast. A great rod for someone looking for classic fiberglass action in a very versatile lenght and line weight. Rod comes with original bag with Ted Williams label and replacement Fenwick tube.

-Ted Williams was the “Baseball Hall of Fame” left-fielder for the Boston Redsox from 1939-1960 and also an avid and expert fly fisherman and alsonamed to the International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame in 2000. Ted Williams was also a very good friend of famous bamboo rod maker, Paul H. Young. The rod is from the Ted Williams signature series of fly fishing tackle. This would be a great piece for a Ted Williams fan.
