The reel is in mint condition. Anodized aircraft-grade aluminum for use in the salt. The palmable spool can be changed with the push of a button. Sealed drag system with outgoing click and silent retrieve. Van Staal reels are famous for their excellent performance in extreme environments. Regardless of surf, sand, and weather the reels continue to perform. A cool feature of this reel is the drag adjustment knob doesn’t spin with the handle on the outgoing rotation.
