For sale here is a special order Walt Carpenter 6 1/2′ Browntone bamboo rod. Two sections and two tips for a three weight line. The rod is in excellent++ original condition showing very little wear. All sections are full length and straight.

The rod features beautiful moderately tempered cane withrich mahogany brownwraps and black tipping. Black, gold, and burgundy at the winding check and male ferrules. The tips are distinguished by one or two dots at theferrules. Agate stripping guide. Ring hook keeper. Blued nickel silver checks. Petite cigar grip with 5 1/2″ in length with only light soiling. Blued cap and ring reel seat over a mortised Spanishcedar spacer. “W.E. Carpenter Maker” is engraved on the butt cap. There are some light wear marks on the spacer. The ferrules are a perfect fit. The rod weighs 2.70 oz. The action is on the faster side of medium-fast. Some may like it with a four weight line for in close action. Comes with original bag and labeled tube.
