For sale here is a quite scarce Wright & McGillGranger Aristocrat Model 7030. 7′ 2/2 4wt bamboo rod. The rod is in excellent+ restoredcondition. All sections are full-length with no repairs. Classic Granger ammoniated cane, bronze colored silks with dark brown tipping. Some of the wraps have slight gaps between the threads. Mildly swelled butt. The rod retains the original hammer handle grip, though it has been cleaned. The patented nickel silver up-locking reel seat is in wonderful condition and functions smoothly and properly. The ferrules are size 11/64, the fit is perfect. The rod weighs 3 7/8 oz. The action is a superb medium-fast. A perfect small stream rod from the golden age of bamboo. Includes original bag and tube. There are a few small dents in the rod tube near the cap.
