For sale here is an Old Faithful Rod Co. “True Action” bamboo rod made by Wright & McGill. 8 1/2 feet, three sections with two tips for a sixweight line. These rods were made in the late 1940s and 1950s. This rod remains in excellentcondition. No repairs are evident and none are needed. One tipdoes have a slight set. The reel seat was upgraded to the uplocking Wright & McGill reel seat and included with this sale is the original maroon aluminumreel seat that the rod came with originally. The rod weighs 5.1oz. Comes with original bag and labeled tube. The ferrules sizes are 17/64 and 11/64 and the ferrule fit is good.
