Richly tempered cane with caramel colored silks and fine black tipping. Chestnut brown wraps at the ferrules. Oxidized guides and ferrules. Agate stripping guide. Garrison style grip fits in the hand nicely. Down-locking sliding band reel seat over a beautiful Tiger Maple spacer. “JC Zimny Maker” engraved on butt cap. The rod has a nice dry-fly action on the faster side of the spectrum. Ferrule fit is very good and pop when pulled apart. The rod weighs 3 5/8 oz. Original bag and fine black powder coated tube with brass ends and J.C. Zimny label. This is an excellent dry-fly rod for small to medium streams.
